I camped.

A few weekends ago my best friends and I all decided to take a little overnight camping trip. We went to Payson Lake and pitched a tent. I can't say I'm much of a camper but with this group, it was the best. The boys even cooked us delicious tin foil dinners! I love my friends and I love little gettaways like this. Especially before school is in session.

Piper Lane

She's finally here! On August 4th Jade gave birth to Piper Lane Pew. She weighed in at a tiny 6 pounds 15 ounces. She is just as beautiful as we all knew she would be. I took so many pictures, unfortunately they are all from my phone so not the best quality. It's so amazing to have this new little one in our lives now. I'm so blessed to have the most gorgeous, sweet nieces I could ever imagine. Jade and Chris are such great parents, and Kennedy is so excited about being a big sister. I love my family so much! How grateful I am to be with them for eternity!

My baby niece comes today. Jade is currently in surgery and within the hour she will have a new baby girl. Words can't even describe my excitment to see this little beauty. I am so in love with her already. Kennedy and Piper are my babies. I love them like my own.

good weekend.

Probably my most favorite time of year is around the 4th of July. Not just because my birthday is on the 3rd, or it's perfect weather. I love that I can always vacation with my family over the 4th. I got to spend the weekend in St. George with my family and best friend. It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend. Most of it was spent on the boat watching everyone ski and wakeboard. It was an amazing birthday and I'm so grateful for all the people I got to spend it with.

A couple days before we left on our vacay, Ann and I went to Lagoon for my work party. It really was so much fun playing all day. Yes we may have got hit on by 16 year old boys with braces, but I guess that's part of the Lagoon experience!
